The Kurparkschlösschen was built in 1889 by the painter Ludwig Scheuermann. At that time it was still called Scheuermann-Schlösschen. In 1934 the building became municipal property. Today the castle is a cultural center for concerts and exhibitions, as well as a wedding castle.
