Road cycling
Robert de Brécourt, diocesan bishop of Évreux from 1340 to 1374, bears the name of the castle in which he was born.
The current castle was built around 1625 by Jean Jubert, adviser to the Grand Council2.
The castle was looted in 1793, by the conventional winners of the Federated States following the battle of Brécourt3, which took place on July 13th.
It became the property of Marshal Catherine-Dominique de Pérignon in 1802.
