Studánka Slovanka is located on the banks of the Svratka and we can reach it from Nedvědice following the red sign past the church and the cemetery for approximately 1 km. The date 5/16/1835 is associated with the modification of this source. The name is the opposite of the Císařská well, located nearby (by the railway station in Nedvědice, under the railway crossing), which was modified in honor of the Habsburg monarch. In terms of the composition of dissolved substances, the springs are very similar, but due to the location, Slovanka contains less chlorides and nitrates. Conductivity 380 - 430 uS/cm, calcium and magnesium content around 80 mg/l and bicarbonates 180 - 220 mg/l, nitrates around 3 mg/l, but phophorates are also present in the water, most often 0.2 mg/l. These are the nutrients for the rich recovery in the area around the spring. The yield fluctuates between 3.5 and 6 l/min all year round. and a temperature between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius. Since 1993, the ratio of bicarbonates to total water hardness has decreased by 0.7 mmol. A seemingly small number, but in relation to the total amount of bicarbonates, it shows an undesirable trend even in some of these slightly mineralized waters.
