Lot's wife is a character in the Book of Genesis, she turned into a pillar of salt when she looked back at Sodom after they were warned by Angels to flee from Sodom. This rock formation is in the form of a person and called Lot's wife.
It's a short easy walk or cycle from the road. From here you can continue on the Vensterklippe cycling route (Window Rocks). You will however need a permit for this route, obtainable from the Dwarsrivier shop
