Tips
The old mosque from the Ilkhane period was built in the 14th century. Unfortunately, today only the remains of the once stately mosque remain. Destruction began with the Ottoman occupation and continued through the shelling by Russian troops (1911) through the Pahlavi era to the present day. The last action of the Islamic regime destroyed the old foundations completely.
