    The Kabud or Blue Mosque is one of the unique examples of ancient Iranian architecture and the only building that has remained in their capital, Tabriz, since the reign of the Qara Qoyunlu. The mosque was built in the 15th century and destroyed by an earthquake in 1779. Only parts of the mosque remained, which have been gradually reconstructed since 1973.
    In the rear southern part is the mausoleum of the builder Jahan Shah, the leader of the Turkmen tribal federation of the Qara Qoyunlu
