A wonderful, secluded hike to the lake. Coming from Beisfjord, the path before the lake leads directly over rock slabs. These are extremely slippery and dangerous when wet. The trail is not recommended in foggy and wet conditions. Even at the end of July, there was still a lot of snow on the lake.

Awesome glaciers and lake. Steep and technical terrain, can be (very) slippery when wet. We hiked here in september in good weather but with some wind and while I was 4 months pregnant. Doable, but be careful.
