For me, Esk Hause is one of the most exciting places in the Lake District. This pass is situated at a great high crossroads between the Scafells; Esk Pike and Bowfell; and Allen Crags and Glaramara. It's likely you've done the bulk of the ascent for the day to get to this point and, from here, the adventure potential and fun to be had is immense.
