The Calancasca is a 31-kilometer-long whitewater river in the canton of Graubünden. It rises south of the Zapporthorn at an altitude of around 2,840 meters. It flows south through the Calanca valley and after 31 kilometers flows into the Moësa near Roveredo. At Buseno, the river is dammed to form the Molina reservoir and the water is diverted. Only the residual water remains below the reservoir.
