The Salzburg Gate, also known as the Upper Church Gate, was an entrance gate on the west side of the former city wall into the city of Schladming. The listed city gate is still partly original, but was expanded in 1930 by a second gate for road traffic. The Salzburg Gate is located on Salzburgerstrasse next to the Catholic Parish Church.

Mountain biking

Is a remnant of the old defensive wall which was added in 1629 again. In 1930 it was extended by a second gate to meet the increasing traffic. The gate next to the church is the original one.
