Gravel riding
In short: the landscape here is absolutely unique. However, the terrain is pretty rough; gravel bikes and 40 mm tires are just about OK to get through. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the wooded area, but as soon as you get above the tree line they are no longer a problem. The approach from the south was once a path and is now more of a stream bed.
