In 1340 Kückhoven became an independent parish. She was subordinate to the Aachen Marienstift. Nothing remains of the church of that time. Around 1408 a new Gothic church was built and around 1460 the bell tower was built. In 1642 the nave was burned down. In 1792 a new baroque nave was added to the still existing Gothic tower.
