@Ina: "Timäus Stavros". "Ä" is also not common. Timios Stavrós or Timeos Stavros. By the way: more and more other mountain peaks in Crete are named this way. For example, the mountain peak of Psiloritis is also called Timios Stavrós.

I liked the "Titte," as I like to call it, because it looks like this from Plakias, in summer 2019 from Plakias. 21 km and 4 hours of pure walking, if you hike quickly. (I only needed 35 minutes to reach the summit from the beginning of the switchbacks.)
In clear weather: great views! Highly recommended, if you want to make a great hike!

The name is misspelled. It is called "Timaus Stavros" "Honorable Cross", so from the crosses on Golgotha the cross of Christ. The tour is easy but very rewarding. You can drive from the village Lefkoja a bit by car. From the serpentines only about an hour. In the hot season is worth getting up early. Great view!
