First part of Carmarthen's medieval deanery, St Brynach's later became Cistercian. While the church has been rebuilt and renovated many times, you can still spot sections dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries.
It lies in the village of Llanboidy. If you want even more history, a short walk east along the road will bring you to the remains of a motte & bailey castle.
