Be careful after snowfall, the ridge after ascending Lobhörner falls steeper on the west side than on the east side, and can be icy or slippery due to mud under the snow. We did the tour mid September and were very lucky with sunny weather for two days. The second day we had a 30 cm fresh snowfall. Alpine hiking shoes were enough, we didn't have snow shoes but it was quite okay. The view doesn't stop, you can see the three peaks (Jungfrau, Mönch, Eiger) all the time you're up there. And also see Interlaken at some point. We started at the Lobhornhütte and made a round turn back to the hut. I recommend a swim in the Sullsseewli lake near the hut, or a refreshing dip in the Bach (small river) on your way back down to Sulwald.
