Former Benedictine abbey. Since 1978, owned by the CSU-affiliated Hanns Seidel Foundation, it serves as a conference center. Founded in 1070, it was the oldest monastery on the Upper Main until its secularization. The monastery church dates from the early 18th century and was designed by Johann Dientzenhofer.
