Black birch skeletons stick out of the water. Jordbrodammen was originally a swamp that grew back with birch forest after it was drained. In the 1990s, the wetland was replanted to provide irrigation for the golf course. Now the pond is also a popular breeding ground for various species of birds, including little grebes, coots, gadwall and whooper swan.
