The Singliser See is located near Borken in Hessen and is known beyond the borders as a surfing paradise. It is one of the four lakes in the Borkener Seenland, which covers an area of over 350 hectares and is very popular as a recreation area. The lake landscape consists on the one hand of natural lakes and on the other hand of former open pit holes.
