The Hasselbach is an orographic right tributary of the Dalke in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has a length of 6.3 km. The route of this near-natural Sennebach leads largely through nature reserves.The floodplain, through which the Hasselbach flows and which has been designated as a protected area, has a total area of 51.9 ha and consists primarily of wet meadows, stands of reed plants and alder swamp forests. Also characteristic is a creek-accompanying grape cherry-alder-ash forest as well as a rest of drifting sand dunes with heather and sandy grassland.Source: Wikipedia
