Extra-large wreaths and garlands all the way. You should think twice if you want to correct this very point. I have personally gone through this twice with 33 mm Schwalben X-One Allround cyclocross tires (tubeless) and reasonably high tire pressures: there was a lot of crunching and strain on the wrists. With a gravel or MTB bike and mild tire pressures with tires 40 mm wide and above, this wreath road is not that challenging.
