The remains of a stone ground sailor on the Holleweg in Elene (Zottegem). The mill was built in 1762 and milled until 1923. Typical for this mill is the unique crosswork on iron balls.
In 1979 the mill was protected as a monument and as a village view. Since 2013, the dilapidated mill has been owned by Baron della Faille d'Huysse, who owns Leeuwergem Castle. In 2022, repairs to the masonry are in progress.
