The problem at this point is that the path down to the ford does not lead to the water, but breaks off 2m further up and you then have to climb down the slope. With the current water level (September, rain the day before) it was quite possible to wade through the water. But all in all a difficult place!

The slope is indeed steep. It was therefore a bit tricky to maneuver the bikes down. I didn't want the electric bike to go into the water with the motor. So I had to carry it through.
