Hiking
At the inflow of the Niddatalsperre through the Nidda there is a swamp area that is a biotope for many animal species, such as e.g. birds, insects, amphibians.
An artificially created island with wooden buildings in the nature reserve of the Nidda inlet was created as a spawning ground for fish such as tench and carp.
Fish can be caught for a fee at certain times.
