At the south-west end of the Massif dels Ports, the southernmost mountain range in Catalonia, very close to the Tossal d'en Cervera (1,346 m), the Font Ferrera refuge is located, a building that since the year 1997 works as a saved shelter. Accessible by track from the town of Fredes and crossing point of the GR 7, it is part of the Estels del Sud crossing, which runs through the entire Ports massif, one of the most beautiful and surprising mountains in the country. A refuge with numerous options for family hiking.
