This tiny but clear body of water is located above Riva di Tures, a few hundred meters from the Italian-Austrian border. It is located at about 2,530 meters above sea level, has no real name in Italian and all around you can see the peaks of over 3,000 meters of the Tauern Mountains.

Definitely if possible from the Kasseler hut go further to Gr. Malersee - it is worth it in appropriate weather. The slightly exposed spot on the way there looks worse than it is. Everybody has to decide for themselves.
