This heavily guarded border crossing is located at the top of the Giant Mountains. Harrachov (German Harrachsdorf) is a country town on the river Mumlava (Mummel) in the Czech Republic. It is located at an altitude of 665 m on the western edge of the Giant Mountains, directly on the border with Poland. Above the city is the Mummelfall.
