Reachable with scarce 2 hours of walking, the Bivacco Ghiaccioni (m.1410) is located on the CAI 653 path that starts from Succiso Nuovo.
Beautiful and solid structure (thanks to various renovations), inside it consists of a single room with wood stove, table, benches and two bunk beds. Outside, other tables with benches, barbecue and a source of fresh water.The Ghiaccioni Bivouac was built by recovering an old ruin, dating back to the First World War, to house Austro-Hungarian prisoners of war who worked at the "lock" of Liocca.
