The building is an architectural monument of republican significance. The church was consecrated on October 31, 1904 by His Grace Stefan, Bishop of Mogilev and Mstislav. It is known that services in the temple took place until 1937. Then it was closed and transferred to a club and a library. During the Great Patriotic War, believers opened the temple and began to perform divine services. In 1962, the authorities closed St. Nicholas Church again. The crosses were dropped, the dome was dismantled. Some part of the icons was secretly taken away by believers. For a long time the temple was inactive, then the club was again placed there.
In 2002, the building of St. Nicholas Church was returned to the revived parish. Now, with the donations of parishioners and with the help of regional authorities and organizations under the leadership of Priest Priest Michael, the church is being restored.
