Hiking
The beach and the neighboring river are great for a family outing. If the waves are too high, the little ones can splash around in the warm and shallow river. The beach attracts many surfers and surf schools.

Hiking
Nice beach at a river mouth. Good infrastructure (several bars and a surfing school) but quite crowded even in season. There are plenty of free parking spaces and if the Atlantic is too stormy, you can simply go swimming in the river.
