In 1945, shortly after the end of World War II, the construction of the ski jumping facility in Dmoutě pod Vavřinečkem above Domažlice began. The work was mainly carried out by German prisoners of war. The facility consisted of two ski jumps with K36 and K18, a jury tower and a hut with electric lighting. However, the smaller hill was hardly used.
During competitions in the following years it turned out that the ski jumps did not meet the safety requirements. In addition, there was often a lack of snow to prepare the jumps, so that the last planned competition in 1965 was also cancelled. After that the condition of the ski jumps deteriorated and so they were dismantled in the early 1970s.
