Only about 10 km southwest of the city center of Salzburg, this quiet road at the foot of the almost 2000 m high Untersberg massif leads from Glanegg to the Salzburgerstraße (L114) between Großgmain and Wals. Both the shady road through the forest as well as some beautiful views and, last but not least, steep gradient percentages recommend the route for a tour into or out of the Berchtesgadener Land.

Very nice route but not exactly harmless in autumn when it is wet, the 22% gradient is quite a challenge. Driving carefully and slowly in the wet is recommended, especially in autumn.
