Olgahafen is located on the Dümmer and is a possible starting point for the 18 km long circular walk around the lake, on foot or by bike. There are two beautiful places for bird watching right in Olgahafen. On the left hand side there is a lookout tower and on the right hand side there is a covered lookout stand.
This morning we saw common sandpipers, common sandpipers, great crested grebes, various species, grey and great white herons, and to top it all off, ospreys and sea eagles.
