Zrinjevac, i.e. Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square, is a Zagreb square and park with an avenue of plane trees, built in 1892. It is the oldest of the seven Zagreb lower town squares that make up the so-called Green or Lenucius horseshoe. It covers an area of 12,540 m2.

Hiking

Beautiful green axis of Zagreb goes from Glavni Kolodvor in the south to Trg Republike (yeah, I know - it's currently called Jelacic plac) in the north. "Zrinjevac" is officially the northern half of this green mile and the place where most events take place - from Christmas market in the winter to music evenings in summer.
