An erratic boulder located in the center of Pianezza, dedicated to the memory of Bartolomeo Gastaldi, geologist, professor at the (pre)Polytechnic, and co-founder of the Italian Alpine Club (CAI). At the summit is a small chapel dedicated to Saint Michael, normally open only by appointment with the Pianezza CAI.
