Enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over Lake Neusiedl, far into the Hungarian lowlands. The tour leads through picturesque villages with cellar lanes, past vineyards, pastures and thousands of cherry trees - which, depending on the weather, transform the region into a single sea of blossoms from the beginning to the middle of April. Simultaneously with the blossoming of the cherry trees, which also give this region its name, yellow Adonis, dark violet pasque flowers, pink and white delphiniums, violet grape hyacinths and yellow and violet dwarf irises appear and transform the dry grassland on the southern slopes of the Leithagebirge into a colorful sea of flowers. By Panonian standards, this route is a bit more demanding with short, steep sections. Numerous information boards provide information about cultural and scenic features.[burgenland.info]

A great tour around the lake with beautiful scenery, virtually no traffic, plenty of places to stop for refreshments, and a ferry ride – definitely an experience. Some gravel roads, very fine white gravel, and lots of asphalt.
