From this spot I have a beautiful view over Lake Bärwalder. In summer you can also take a longer break on the beach and jump into the cool water!

Road cycling
The lake was created by flooding the former Bärwalde lignite open-cast mine, which was in operation until 1992. After the open-cast mine was closed, recultivation began and the lake was flooded from 1997 to 2008.
