The castle is a two-wing, three-storey building with a four-storey corner tower. At the end of the main facade is the basket-arch entrance gate. The coat of arms of the barons of Gartner-Machtenhofen is attached above this castle entrance. The ground floor is separated by a plaster ashlar. The west and north facades were restored in 1986/87. There is said to be a picture of Stephan Fadinger in the staircase. The castle is not open to the public.
