Colle del Garezzo is an alpine pass in the province of Imperia, located at an altitude of 1,771 m a.s.l. It is crossed, at an altitude of 1771 m a.s.l., by a short tunnel that connects the upper Arroscia valley with the high Argentina valley, in particular San Bernardo di Mendatica with Triora, both directly with the municipal capital (through the Passo della Guardia), and the hamlet of Realdo (through the Bassa di Sanson and the Collardente) and with Molini di Triora and Pigna (through Colle Melosa and Colla Langan). The roads that descend from Colla Melosa and Collardente towards the Argentina Valley are asphalted, even if that of Collardente has a very rough surface and, in recent years, has been closed to vehicular traffic several times, after Case del Pin. The first kilometer from San Bernardo di Mendatica to the Colle del Garezzo tunnel is also asphalted, the rest of the route is unpaved, in good to just fair conditions.
