    The important things first:

    - The KS should not be underestimated because of its length: approx. 3:15h KS

    - When wet, the entire KS becomes significantly heavier and really not recommended.

    - People around/under 1.60m have it much more difficult in many places due to long steps

    - The descent is very steep and requires a lot of concentration

    - Better not for beginners. One should be sure that one can master C/D - D

First of all, I can recommend everyone to tackle the tour before the first train to avoid the crowds. It takes about 1.5 hours to get started. A start around 5:00 a.m. is worthwhile at the latest on the via ferrata and on the ladder.

    Part 1 - approx. 1h:

Part 1 starts quite sporty. The C/D section is steep and requires some arm strength.

    Otherwise very enjoyable first part.

    Part 2 - approx. 1:15h:

The second part is much more moderate in terms of demand. Directly after the saddle there is a C piece, which shouldn't be a big problem. Otherwise, the way up to the ladder is rather difficult. In dry conditions, the 2nd part may be a pleasure, in wet conditions, A/B pieces sometimes tend to become B pieces, since the rock in combination with the earthy passages offers no support and friction climbing is not possible. The fun simply falls by the wayside when it's wet, but of course it's still doable.

    Part 3 - 1:00h:

The ladder is extremely wobbly, but it's still a lot of fun. Being there early is worth it, as there are no traffic jams, drone shows, etc. Directly after the ladder it gets sporty again. Then beautifully exposed with a great view to the summit.

Descent to the Gablonzer Hütte (recommended) - 1:30h:

The descent isn't fun at all when it's wet, otherwise it's not much fun either, as it requires a lot of concentration after a strenuous tour. Consistently steep, but never dangerously exposed.

The descent to the car park can be shortened after midday at the hut by train for around 12 euros.
