The "Belvédère zu Hohenrain" originally stood here in the 19th century, a 21 meter high tower with a dance floor and restaurant. Since the tower was said to have been initiated by Louis Napoleon, the tower was called the Napoleon Tower.

The current building dates from 2017. The viewing platform is 36 meters high and offers a unique view of Lake Constance, the Säntis and even the Eiger.

The tower is open from 8am to 6pm and the climb is free.
