Mountaineering

From the junction doppersteig / kienbergsteig it becomes a partly rough terrain. Very high grass with accumulator danger of ticks down to the forest clearing. Without navigation, we would have lost twice because the trail is sometimes very difficult to recognize. We needed 1 hour longer for the way down.

Mountaineering

Status 2022: The Kienbergsteig was not signposted on the descent (at least we didn't see any signs) and little to no marked (fading white circle on tree trunks). It almost looked like it was no longer meant to be walked on. We really had to look for the path a few times because it was covered by the leaves in autumn. A sure footing and a rough idea of where the path should be is a must in my opinion. It was an adventure and still fun.
