The Achensee is the most beautiful and largest lake in Tyrol - it offers phenomenal views and swimming opportunities all around. The lake is up to 133 metres deep and has excellent water quality. In summer it is totally refreshing: its water temperature is low for a mountain lake and hardly ever exceeds 20 degrees Celsius.
