Erikas Leijeris (1906-1951), elder of the Synod of Lithuanian Latvian Evangelical Lutherans (1932-1937), member of the Consistory (1932-1936), awarded the Order of Gediminas IV degree, the Star of Sagittarius, lived in the rectory. in 1941 he was elected president and senior of the Consistory. in 1942 published together with the reformed in 1940. prepared hymnal. in 1949 arrested and deported to Siberia, the Mikhailovka camp, where he died.
