The bridge was built by two companies working together ... Polish and Spanish companies Budimex and Ferrovial Agroman. People here have been waiting for a connection without using the ferry for almost 100 years. The old train and road bridge
would be destroyed in 1927. On the new bridge is a separate foot and bike path
built-in.
