To protect nature, entry is sometimes prohibited.

The area is a designated, 45-acre nature reserve and bears the cadastral number NSG500.034. Here you will find species-rich meager meadows, which are surrounded by different biotopes. Brownfields alternate with flowering meadows, wetland and heathland. In between are flat moor fragments and many small ponds. Beautiful lake where you have various opportunities for employment.

A circumnavigation of the small Brombachsee on foot or by bike, even with small children, is ideal. Partly through the forest, as well as on the dam with almost no incline.
