Buildings that are left to decay lie on the beautiful stream of the Sterbecke. Further up at the Kaltenborn Bach until just before the A45 you will find other buildings and bunkers from days gone by.
From about 1903 to 1932 there was an explosives factory with up to 2000 employees on the entire site.
Today a ghost town in a beautiful valley.
