The church is of Romanesque origin and was built around 1200 under the strong influence of the Jerichow collegiate church. A baroque half-timbered tower with a curved dome and an open lantern was built above the tower, which was probably not completed in the Middle Ages. At the same time, the interior was redesigned. The Protestant church is in the center of the village in the middle of an old cemetery. It is the symbol of the village.
