It is not known where the name "Emmas Ruh" came from. The bench bears witness to past decades, when one could linger here and had a wonderful view over the village pond and village to the opposite slope with the church. Historical postcards show the wonderful view, today the trees are too big. But you can try your luck a little below and look between the trees in the direction of the village. Perhaps a line of sight will be created here again at some point?
