Also called Chiesa del Crocifisso or Su Rughifissu, it is a beautiful Romanesque church in Pisan style (12th century), suggestively decorated with alternating white and dark bands (marble and basalt). The name derives from an ancient wooden group of the Deposition once guarded inside. The medieval sculptures visible on the façade and on the sides and the apse are beautiful. The isolated position in the Bulzi countryside is splendid. To get there, on the provincial road that connects Laerru and Bulzi, just go down for 150 meters on an easy concrete road. Access is possible with the payment of a ticket, the visit is worthwhile, it is a very important monument of medieval art in Sardinia.
