There's no shoulder on the road that one could ride on. Even though most drivers *try* to pass safely, there's just no wiggle room. I'd avoid this road if I ever have to go to that direction.

From Maglaj to žepče the main roadcan be avoided riding on the opposite side of the river, a bit more climbing but not steep and avoid both tunnels. Between žepče and želeće there is the old railway bosnabahn that is still rideable, but bad macadam (suitable for mtb or gravel with large tires). Extra caution required for both the bridges, especially the second, that aren’t in the very best conditions (locals still use and patch them), walk the bike on them. Then there are 12 unavoidable km of main road to nemila (hard shoulder too narrow to ride, but large enough to stop and let trucks/car pass) and from nemila is again possible to ride on a secondary road all the way to Zenica
